Day 01: Hoa Lu – Tam Coc Boat Trip – Cycling in Tam Coc – Overnight at Bungalow (Meal included: Lunch, Dinner)
7:00 – 7:45 am: Guide and bus pick you up from hotel and start driving to Ninh Binh, stop for a short break to stretch your legs. you visit Hoa Lu – Capital of an ancient Vietnamese Kingdom called Dai Co Viet. There are two 17th Century temples, modeled after their 11th-century originals that are on most itineraries to Hoa Lu. They are the Dinh Tien Hoang Temple (King Dinh temple) and Le Hoan Temple (King Le Temple). Then you have buffet lunch with Vietnamese Cuisines in our restaurant.
In the afternoon, you start an excursion on Ngo Dong river in Tam Coc– the most exciting boating trip with sampan boats through caves (Hang Ca – Hang Hai and Hang Ba) and visit stunning river surrounded by Limestone Karsts with rich fauna and flora. Then we prepare bicycles for you to discover the nearby attractions with green fields and daily life of the locals.
Guide and bus take you to the bungalow to check in and say goodbye to you. You have your own time to relax or swim before the dinner around 19:00, then enjoy the night there.
Note: You will stay in Bungalow in Tam Coc without tour guide until the next day in Bai Dinh with a new tour guide to save your tour cost.
Day 02: Bai Dinh Pagoda – Trang An Boat Trip – Mua Cave (Meal included: Breakfast, Lunch)
From 7:30 – 10.00 am: You enjoy a new day with breafast in Bungalow/hotel in Tam Coc, relax and walk to the local market to see the way local people purchasing goods.
At 9.30, you check out. We arrange a car/taxi to take you to Bai Dinh pagoda to join the group bus to visit Bai Dinh pagoda – one of the biggest pagodas in Vietnam. This pagoda complex stunningly boasts an array of the most massive and magnificent architecture of Vietnamese tradition refined ever built that it takes a full day to explore all. So you will visit some of the highlights that owned the national: 500 stone statues of “La Han” (Arhats), 2 huge bronze bells, one weighs 27 tons, other weighs 36 tones and Three bronze statues of Tam The (50 tons each). You have lunch in Tam Coc restaurant (the restaurant you ate on the first day), then bus takes you to Trang An – World heritage site to join the boat trip (2,5 hours) with stunning river surrounded by Limestone Karsts with rich fauna and flora.
About 16.00, bus takes you to Mua cave to trek up to the top of mountain: Ngoa Long mountain summit with amazing view. You will have the great photos ever.
About 17.30, getting on the bus and going back to Hanoi. Trip ends.
