The Reunification Palace – A historical structure that was built on the same site of the former “Norodom Palace”. The Norodom Palace housed many French governors during the Indochina invasion. After the defeat of French, the palace was handed over to the prime minister of the State of Vietnam, Ngo Dinh Diem. The palace was renamed shortly after as the Independence Palace.
Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica of Saigon – This marvelous architecture was constructed between 1863 and 1880 by French colonists. This Cathedral Basilica of Our Lady of The Immaculate Conception was built after the French occupation in Saigon with all costs and raw materials imported directly from France.
Saigon Central Post Office – Located close to the Notre-Dame Cathedral of Saigon, Ho Chi Minh City Post Office was designed by a famous French architect and was constructed during 1886 – 1891 using gothic, renaissance and French architectural influences. It is currently the busiest post office in the country and a significant symbol of Ho Chi Minh City.

War Remnants Museum: This museum was opened to the public in 1975 to exhibit the war crimes committed by the French and Americans during the IndoChina and the Vietnam War. The exhibit includes photographs taken during the Vietnam War, American military equipment like tank, helicopter with rocket launchers, fighter plane, a single-seater attack aircraft and a 6,800kg conventional bomb.
